Back in 1947, three gentlemen (John Upthegrove, Frank Kinch, and Harold Finan) pooled their resources to create Port Austin Level. Since then, Port Austin Level has grown from a one-room work shop to a full-sized factory which includes an aluminum foundry.
It is our goal as Level and Tool Manufacturers to give tradesmen throughout the world the best tool possible. That same high quality marks our do-it-youself products, which give professional results. Quality is our greatest salesman.
Today, we are Level and Tool Manufacturers who are guided by a third generation of the founders. This third generation pledges continued high quality and service. The world is our market, and our customers are the most important people in the world.
